The Elma Variety Store will participate in the annual Prairie Points Quilt Guild “shop hop,” which encourages patrons to travel from quilt store to quilt store between Oct. 17 and Oct. 26.
Patrons pick up a “passport” at their local quilting store and then travel all over to win prizes.
Grand prize is a Husqvarna Viking, donated by Pfaff/Viking Creative Sewing Center in Lacey. Other prizes include two baskets of fabrics, quilting tools, patterns and other goodies value of $400 each, two retreats — one from Jolynn’s Quilt Away and the other is from Quilter’s Cottage, plus The Warm Company of Elma donated $400 of their products. Each store will be also giving away a $25 gift certificate.
Quilt Harbor of Aberdeen and Beach Tyme Quilts of Ocean Shores are also participating.
