An Elma woman swerved to avoid a deer on Highway 12 near Oakville, but ended up rolling her vehicle Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A 27-year-old Centralia man was injured in the accident and was transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center. The 23-year-old Elma woman was driving her 2002 Acura RSX just after 7:30 a.m. four miles west of Oakville. She lost control of the vehicle and it rolled twice before coming to rest on its top. The highway was partially blocked for an hour.
Both occupants wore seat belts.
